For ANYONE who knows me KNOWS I LOVE makeup brushes! Well I came across a video on youtube to one of the people I subscribe to and I think these brushes look really great!! For Jennifer (who blames me for making her "girly" and blames me for wanting makeup brushes now) these are great starter brushes in my opinion. They are comparable to MAC brushes, see video below. Doing a little bit of googling I came across this lady's blog blissandpieces.blogspot.com/2009/02/sigma-makeup-review-giveaway.html and you can enter to win either a
FREE Face Brush Set

Includes: SS150 (Powder Brush, I would use for Powder haha), SS187 (Stippling Brush, THE BEST FOUNDATION BRUSH EVER... stipple it on your face to make a flawless finish... This is what I used on my girls from work when I did their hair and makeup for their foundation. This is my LOVE of face brushes, can ya tell?), SS168 (An Angle Contour Brush, Great for blushes and perfect for contouring... for those who have never tried to contour your face TRY IT, once you do it, you never go without) SS190 (Foundation Brush, I would use for Moisterizer), and SS194 (Concealor Brush, youtube review says it's better then MAC's 194)
Or you can enter to win the Eye's Brush Set

Includes: SS224 (Blending Brush), SS252 (Shading Brush), SS239 (Shading Brush, this brush is a staple brush needed for all make-up wearers... MAC's 239 is made with white goat hair), SS219 (Blending Brush, MAC's 219 comes to a smaller point, but this one will still serve it's purpose but not going to be what you'd want to use to put a small blend of shadow under/along the bottom lash line), SS275 (Angeled Shading & Blending Brush, GREAT multipurpose brush), SS266 (Small Angeled Brush... Great for bringing color in a sharp line, and eye liner) SS209 (Liner Brush.. for eye liner LOL)

All these can be found at

Go to the lady's blog above to find out how to enter! I HIGHLY recommend doing it!! Either set is a great set to grab, I'm having a hard time deciding which one I am going to aim for :D. Here's the video so you guys can see the comparision to the MAC brushes (and MAC brushes are the BEST BRUSHES EVER!!)

My recent complaining about where our gov't is heading is knowing what we are coming up to. The gov't is slowing working through legislation trying to break down our 2nd amendment, the right to bear arms. They are trying to make it so any official can declare any gun you/or someone may own is illegal without being on any list as an unacceptable gun... meaning they would then be able to take ALL guns away so we will end up unarmed. This happened recently in Great Britain and the citizens there are in HELL. Bad guys have guns, but good guys don't, the crime rate there has sky rocketed and is a nightmare for the citizens. With all the stuff going on in our nation, the bail outs, the risks of our banks closing down overnight and ALL of our money is just GONE our nation is being forced into a state of emergancy, riots will be everywhere... Katrina will not just be in New Orleans, but Nation wide (also mind you during that time officals took guns away from the good citizens who had not broken any laws and legally were allowed to keep their guns for their protection, look on youtube for videos of this). The gov't is working on passing a bill giving FEMA enough control that we will then be placed into their care and taken to a place designated for us... once we are at FEMA's house, FEMA does not have to recognise our Constitutional rights, giving us NO rights at all! If you don't think the path America is heading could possibily be facing this road I urge you to research it (what I say below is only more proof).

Luckily the officials in New Hampshire recognise this and refuse to be apart of it. I can ONLY hope other states will join on the banwaggon! New Hampshire addresses every fact I have said above, the right to bear arms, addressing the hate crime, matrial law, forcing of drafts to serve the gov't to minors and adults w/o a war, and so forth. THANK God someone is standing up for the citizens. They are giving a Declaration of War.. and I SURE HOPE OTHER STATES HAVE THE BALLS TO JOIN IN!!!

WAY TO GO NEW HAMPSHIRE!! I just might have to move there so you can get my state tax dollars if Georgia can't grow the balls!

As they say on the McDonald's commercials, I'M LOVIN' IT!!!

Sat down tonight and watched The Patriot in bluray finally (side note, the bluray does make the colors so much more vibrant).  I felt the need to watch it since lately I feel like our Nation has fallen away from where we origionally began. I really feel American's need to watch it over and over and over again until it really sinks in what America was created for, a Free Nation, a New World...

While watching it a few thoughts came to mind:
-America has always been known to be the super military power since it's beginning. It's because we have always had a Patriotic Spirit. And I guess since I was raised in a military family maybe my understanding of it is a bit stronger then a lot out there. Our Military knows there's a cost for freedom, and they have always put themselves last in order for us to live our lives the way we do today. And unfortunatly I feel in the time we are in now, the lives that are being defended have become spoiled... and in a way it includes for me too.

-How would the men who faught to create our country feel if they knew we would become what we have today? We all need to be humbled enough to realise how lucky we have it, and realise anything worth having is worth fighting for. It is also worth sacrifices, putting self last, being willing to pick ourselves up and work.. I see the generations younger then me, and a lot of these guys are looking for someone to support them.. it is a shame we are no longer raising men anymore

-I have always and still blame the bra burning movement. Yes I know what's wrong with me?? I'm a woman who doesn't believe in women's rights?? Seriously look at it, broken homes, crime rates, morality all went downhill from that point on.. and where have women gone today? Still wearing bra's, raising our daughters to show off more skin then they cover, and killing our unborn babies... yeah we're a group to be proud of. I'm so sick of hearing "We should be able to do with our bodies as we please." Well first of all you ALREADY did that, remember??  And second of all IT'S NOT YOUR BODY!!! A woman's blood NEVER touches an unborn baby...EVER!!! That baby you're killing has THEIR own blood... not yours... which means it's not your body!! That's why women with AIDs can give birth to a child and that child not be affected with the AIDs virus. Just a lil bio lesson for you all. (Which on a side note that's my arguement for why Mary was able to be a sinner and not some Goddess the Catholic Church has turned her into being. Another side note, it's amazing that since the beginning, God already had our biology mapped out so He could bring Christ through a woman without being tainted by her blood... the Father's blood is the only blood who touches the baby, through his sperm, awesome huh?). But yes think about it... the bra burning movement screwed up America. As women we should be carrying ourselves with dignity, class and intelligence... not boobs poppin out half whitted bimbos!

Okay so I'll shush my ninnies now, but really feel it's something we all need to think about. All Americans should wake up and realise what's important... and Jessica Simpson's weight gain is hardly important! And that in itself is a whole other blog!

Just recently I came across a teenie-bopper's video on youtube and it was very disturbing. It was a political one, where this young lady wanted to give her opinion. It struck a nerve in me that has been pushed many times before.

Why do girls/women feel that being: "like uhh, yeah... and like she just totally didn't make any sense like, you know? I mean I really think she just has no idea what she's talking about? Like yeah... and um she just doesn't say anything that like um makes any sense! Anyone who is for her, like I mean REALLY, like do you even understand what she's saying? So like uh yeah!" All meanwhile she's bopping her head back and forth, someone needs to get her shoulder pads, she's gonna get whiplash! But there she is wearing a santa hat and enough cleavage hanging out you can't help but to wonder if she's aspiring to be the upcoming "Political Playmte of the Year."

I couldn't help it, but SOMEONE needs to educate this young lady... if you parents don't want to tell her, someone's gotta! (Kinda like my buddy who has a not so favoring picture as his profile picture... had to let him know he looks like "Bug Man".. all meant with care dude... luv ya too if you're reading this). Anyway my comment was:

"A woman tries to impress 1 of 2 ways. One is showing substance of knowledge, Group two think that by degrading themselves showing off their body and looking cute gives them respect. Truth is, no one takes the second group seriously because they fail at proving they have any substance of knowledge. B/C you fail to make a valid point with something she's said not making sense, we assume this is an attempt at being cute."

Now lets look at this logically... the kinda girl in group 2 will never find a man who will honestly love her for her mind. Those kinda bimbos are a dime a dozen and on every street corner. What is it about having a man stare at your boobs that makes women feel like one of a kind? Think about it, what he stares at you for that makes your self esteem balloon is the same thing he can see in a magazine. Only difference is you're giving him the opportunity to touch them instead of a piece of paper. Why not give him substance? Give him a reason to want YOU and only YOU? Honestly the only way to do that is to have personality and a brain... seeing as how the "uh like um, yeah so uh like yeah" conversation is not really unique in women/girl's today. It's funny one of my "ladie's man" friends has a comment on his myspace where this chick basiclly says "all these girls say they are unique yet they are all the same" trying to make herself seem different, all the while she's got her ninnies hanging out for all to see. I always get a kick outta reading his comments because it just shows how trashy us chicks have become. It's funny we have had this "Women's Lib" movement for equal rights, yet the result is we've faught for women's right to bare our skin and abort the babies we get pregnant with. Great equality you all, really... tip my hat to what we faught for.

I can honestly say I'm unique in comparsion to those! Having morals now a days is a very very rare trait. Anyway but to take this to more of an "adult" classier level. On Fox News you have Megyn Kelly... she's a fiesty blonde who used to be a lawyer.... I have to admit I LOVE listening to her.. This was my first seeing her where she stands out as a beautiful woman with a brain! You have to watch it all the way through. I was impressed with how she made sure she was educated before opening her mouth, proving her point.

here's another one of Megyn on a lighter note which I think is funny

Now here is Robin Meade from CNN remember Anarchy is spelled A N A R C H Y

and this one is funny

Okay... I came across a discussion online where these football loving men took a vote on which one was hotter... Robin won. She's a very attractive woman who doesn't mind showing cleavage... BUT as a woman on an intellectual level I think Megyn Kelly is 10 times better... and she too is an attractive woman. Why is it we're raising our children to allow women to be stupid yet flaughty??? Why would men really want that??

I've come to realise with the recent election how American's have fallen soo far away from their roots. Our Founding Father's knew what it was like to be run by a dictatorship. They understood how surpressing it could be, they had enough of it themselves. Eventually they were fed up enough to form an alliance together, build the courage up giving us the ending result of becoming the United States of America. They established our Constitution, Declaration of Independance, and our stepping stones of becoming the Greatest Nation on Earth! We have refugees from all over the WORLD excape their surpressing Countries just so they can be FREE. To be an American is one of the greatest gifts we could have. But along the way it seems we have all lost our ambition of keeping our Country the way it was created to be. We were given the Freedom of Speach, so we wouldn't be afraid to speak out and tell our government they are failing us, to tell them they are were voted BY the people, FOR the people. We were given the Freedom of Religion, so we can freely believe in God the way we CHOOSE to believe and not forced to by a King. We were given the Right to Bear Arms so when our government over steps their boundries we can defend ourselves from them (the way we did to establish our nation). I think everyone who has forgotten what America stood for needs to watch The Patriot again (just bought in bluray last night and need to watch but provoked my blog).

Our Goverment was created to keep us protected, to guard us from the enemy, and to keep public order. Which makes complete sense because if you really break it down to the nitty gritty, The President is the Military's Commander in Cheif. Let's break that down to simple terms... He is the boss man (or woman) of our military. Now tell me how is it that the military's boss is also the man who should be in control of our country?? If anything should be bigger it should be the recruites in the military vs. the government growing. Where in the BREIF discription does it say that the government is responsible for taxing the rich over HALF their pay and giving it to people who just want to be supported by our government?? I'm NOT rich by any means, so it's not like I'm defending my wallet, nor am I saying that people need a hand UP every now and then, we all fall on our toochies every now and then BUT being given a hand UP helps them get ON their OWN feet... not living OFF the gov't as MANY do today. Where does it say in the gov't job description to tax those who have worked hard and long through school and work just to have over HALF of what they've worked years for to be given to those who are too lazy to get up off the couch to change their baby's diaper? I'm sorry, but I see business owners, doctors, etc (even if most need attitude adjustments) should be able to keep their money they work for! Okay lets put it this way, because of the recent "Spreading of Wealth" seems to confuse a lot of people I'll explain in simpler terms. You give your child/children christmas gifts, worked very hard for them, you help others when you can, but christmas morning you've prepared the most amazing christmas you possibly can within your own personal means... It's right BEFORE your children open their gifts, they get to look at it in wonder, all the pretty wrapping, the bows looking beautiful under the tree... you see the excitement in their eyes (that is just the beginning of the wonderful joy us as parents recieve Christmas morning) BUT WAIT... then the gov't walks in and counts out how many gifts are under the tree...
"Okay we've got 30 counted sir'
"That means we need to take 15 of them, but make sure we're not taking the 15 cheap ones"
Then all the gifts are then taken down the road to someone who's parents are dead beats and rather cry and wine that they aren't given a fair share, even though they've never made an attempt at being anything more then a couch potato. Now as a parent who gives a damn about their children your heart BREAKS for kids in that type of situation, we ALL want to help those children... BUT is it's the gov't responsibility to ration the gifts you worked for, you stood in the long christmas lines for, you wrapped up with the thoughts of your child opening christmas morning?? HECK NO!! Why not let the gov't do their job at protecting their citizens (the children after all they do have rights too) and take them from parents who only use them as welfare checks from them... I mean come on now, there's a lot of women out there who keep having children only because it's a bigger check for them, even if it means they bring another child into the world without giving them diapers. I am not anti-welfare by any means... but our gov't needs to make sure that the ones recieving it are the ones who are using it wisely and are being taught a skill to support them and their children on their own. Helping them reach a sense of pride that THEY are now self sufficiant and can support their children on their own, teaching them a sense of PRIDE in one's self.

Another example is lets say a husband works and a wife stays home. He's worked hard to provide two cars for the family, because if a child gets sick, she needs to pick up the child from school or carpool the children to and from baseball practice or what have you. Is if fair for the gov't to say "You don't need two cars, there are people without even a car, so we're taking one and giving it to the ones who don't have one, and we're not paying you for it either." Is that fair??? What if you're in your college class and you've studied your hiney off for an exam... only a few of you pass it because only a few of you studied... So the professor then says he's dividing up your grade and sharing it with the rest of the students??? Is that fair??? This idea of system does not teach one to strive to become more then what they are. Because frankly IF I was a business owner or a doctor and my pay was going to be taxed OVER 50% I will now be making less then those who are being given my money... the HECK with going to school for 6-8 years... forget it, it's not paying itself off what so ever. Nor is this a reciepe for job creation BY ANY STRETCH OF THE MEANS.

Another topic I want to bring up is this Gov't controled Health Care (Jennifer I know this may offend, but hear it out). Growing up I was under a "gov't controled health care" being a military dependant and let me tell you IT SUCKS!!! Doctors get paid reguardless what the outcome is, which means they can make a whoopsy during surgery, and oops now your stuck for the REST OF YOUR LIFE dealing with the consequences of THEIR mistake, that's if you LIVE. Trust me I know, I'm on hernia #3 from the result of a surgery gone bad... I'm lucky when the doc stabbed my aorta 3 times that I'm still alive seeing as how he had no idea why my abdomine is filled with blood when he did it!!! You need competition in the medical field. Now do I think it's right that it's soo expensive?? Being a civilian now dealing with the bad surgery job, even with really good insurance, I STILL have to pay around $3000 OUT OF POCKET to fix my latest hernia, not including the amount taken out of every paycheck just to have insurance. No it's rediculas the cost of health care and it should be made more affordable for everyone!! But if we can't afford to keep paying social security checks, and medicare is not able to pay enough for our senior citizens to get proper health care, what is it we're really going to be able to afford while still giving us the opportunity for a great competitative health care system?? People from other countries come to our Doctors because they are competative, striving to be the best, because as any business owner they know if they give the BEST product (or in this case the best care) PEOPLE will go out of their way to see them!! It's NO secret the medical our military recieves is not the best, the local military hospital has been called the "Butcher's Shop" (recieved that name BEFORE my surgery by others). Now my Father STAYED in the military for his full retirement term ONLY for the free medical for him and his family, He had the opportunity to get out early and start his life as his own person, not belonging to the gov't anymore. A few years AFTER his retirement they changed the system because the gov't couldn't afford it anymore, so now they have to PAY to go to the butcher shop, now granted it is much more affordable then mine, BUT it's not free... if the gov't can't give back the promise they made to our military who give up their lives to protect us as citizens how the heck are they going to afford decent health care that is NOT going to end up being another "Butcher's Shop?"  And how exactly is it their responsibility to provide us with health care??? Do you see how the military or the police should be involved with our doctors and hospitals? If they were, we'd think their was something seriously wrong, either the doctor is killing people or making bombs. So why would the head of the military or the police be involved with our health care? Maybe instead of giving us gov't mandated health care, regulating the costs involved in health care... I mean they charge up to $50 for gause... we ALL know that SAME gause is at walmart for LESS then $5 a BOX! Maybe by bringing down the charges they are allowed to charge can bring our charges for insurance down to make it affordable, as well as our co-pays. Also bringing in MORE of a need for doctors and hospitals to be more competative and making sure they are providing the best service to us! The FCC controls alot of charges we're allowed to be charged in many areas, so why not add the health care to it???

My point in this whole thing is the gov't responsibility is protecting us and keeping peace... not supporting us, or controling us. The more and more control they have over us as people, the less they are For the People, By the People... they will now own us, because we are being created to now depend on them to live. Much like MOST of the Banks tried to REFUSE the bail out money, because that meant the gov't then controlled them.... but the gov't forced them to take it.... Why were they forced??? That was a lot of money to force out when the banks said they were just fine. Do we want the gov't controlling our banks?? I mean seeing as how our tax dollars support and pay for DNA testing on bears in the mountains, do we really want these type of people controlling our banks too???

And what is soooo wrong with drilling for oil??? Yes we need to find alternative energy, BUT even by our current president has said that can not be promised for another 10 years... in the mean time we're sending an absurd amount of money over seas, buying a product  that supports people who don't like us at all. Now let's just think of what drilling in the US could do for us. One it would take our dependancy off our enemy, because we all know it breaks the back of America when the price of gas goes up... so they could easily bring us to our knees if they cut off our addiction to energy. Two can you imagine the amount of jobs it would create for us as a whole??? All that money would now be staying in American hands, we would bring the value of our dollar up tremedously, while bring the cost of oil down! With the value of the dollar going up and keeping it on our soil, we would then have the resources to develop alternative energy. It would be a HUGE possitive effect on our economy in an unimaginable way. But by not doing it, what are we going to do for another 10 years???

Okay so here's another blog that can heat up some blood... it's not meant to offend, but provoke some thought on the responsibilities of our gov't and slowly we are becoming a nation our Founding Father's excaped from.

I do like this... either side of the party line you may be on, I do think it's a good idea to be informed of what the opposite side feels, as well as being educated on something you do support... either way I think it's a good listen to for anyone.

My mother had come across one of this guy's video... I've subscribed to his youtube videos because they are very entertaining and speak the truth. For the MOST part I agree with a lot of what he says.

Live Journal has let me know I am a mega loser with only 2 friends, and everytime I log on I see the "look for new friends" link. I finally just clicked it the other day and on the main screen one of the catagories was news. And as I have stated previously I've become old, I watch the news all the time (at least I'm not at the elderly stage of watching the weather channel constanly LOL). But I came across a man's topic (who happened to be black) that posted a bit from CNN's articles:

Black first family 'changes everything'

"Obama didn't shout at his wife, Michelle, to shut up. The first lady didn't roll her eyes and tell Obama to act like a man. No laugh track kicked in, no one danced, and no police sirens wailed in the background.

Young had tuned in to celebrate the election of the nation's first African-American president. But he realized that he was witnessing another historic first. A black family was being featured as the first family, not the "problem family" or the "funny family."

"They are not here to entertain us," says Young, a New York Press columnist. "Michelle Obama is not sitting around with her girlfriends saying, 'My man ain't no good.' You're not seeing this over -sexualized, crazy black family that, every time a Marvin Gaye song comes on, someone stands up and says, 'Oh girl, that's my jam.' " http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/01/15/obama.family/index.html

I posted a long comment on this, because I am SOO SICK AND TIRED of hearing how racist white america is! But unfortunatly it was all done in vain since when I had tried to post it, it said only friends were allowed to comment. I'm so bugged by this, so I'm posting a blog so I can say my peace. Now I know that there are  back woods country bumpkins that shoot stupidity out of their mouth and there are some people in the white group that are stupid... BUT that doesn't mean we ALL are stupid... As a matter of fact MOST of us (at least most white people I know, which is a lot seeing as how my childhood was the Army life of moving every 3 years) are NOT racist. We are MORE then happy to embrace the life of seeing PEOPLE and NOT color. This is a very blunt comment and it might be offensive to some, but to be honest a lot of the black community (NOT ALL mind you) will not let us!

I don't blame the white man for the entertainment industry making black families appear as the "problem family" or "funny family." Most of these programs and movies are produced by black people and they wouldn't be successful without black actors/actresses ACCEPTING the part and playing it. IF the black entertainment industry would stand up and say "NO MORE!" and say they were SICK of being displayed as disfunction and wanted to be a light of hope for those out there. Look at Denzel Washington, he plays roles that are very intelligent giving ALL children a possitive role model figure. Will Smith recently started in a movie that was uplifting being another possitive role model. The Bundy's was a popular show because white america could look at them and feel better about themselves because EVERY family has their problems. And while on the entertainment topic just to prove my point, if someone started "White Entertainment Television" the NAACP would be at their door step within 10 minutes.. and rightfully so! Our "role models" insist on keeping us divided, and all of us need to step up and tell them ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! I myself would LOVE to be unitied with one another, completely putting an end to this weed of hate.

And as a white chick out here in America I NEVER looked at the Black family as the problem family. As a matter of fact  the Black families I know (which is not just a few) are very close and tight knit! EVERY race has "problem families" from the poor to the rich. One thing I've come to realise a few years ago is that the rich families have just as much drama as the poor... they are just more crafty at hiding it.

Growing up in a military family we didn't see race... we all knew when our father's and mother's went to war, they depended on eachother with their life... there is no place or time for anyone to be stupid enough to look at someone's skin tone. So when we moved to back to the US from Germany I had my first encounter with a neighborhood teen who was black and very racist. I just couldn't understand it. Why was this guy blaming me for slavery??? Blaming me for the reason he was in Amercia instead of Africa. Unfortunatly educating him with the fact that his "own people" in Africa betrayed his ancestors by selling them into slavery wasn't a valid enough point. I was soo shocked how harsh he was to me, and just how angry he was for me for a something that is the most disgusting part of our history that I had nothing to do with! By this point in my life I've already had many friends outside of my own race that were my BEST friends with how often we had moved being military.

I know racism still keeps it's nasty grasp on all groups of people. I work retail management and am surrounded with all kinds of people on a daily basis. I see it in both groups... BUT there are MORE of us that see one another the way we should... as People! We need to stop being immature, put our big boy and big girl panties on and GROW UP! America is the greatest nation on Earth... just think how greater we would be as a "United" America... oh my gosh nothing could stand in our way!! That is such an amazing thought! And I REFUSE to allow ANYONE to plant the seed of racism in my heart.. you will not harden me, and no matter how much you push me away just because I'm white, the more I'm going to want our unity to begin. I'm not a bad person, actually I'm a very caring soft hearted person who gets more joy out of helping others. Somehow one day I can only hope we can get the message to Hollywood and the music industry that they are distroying us, instead of us moving forward, they are pushing us backwards!!

Hope I didn't offend anyone, again racism does exisit in all races... but I can honestly say there are more white people who would love unity then there are racist ones.. I know this to be a fact!

***UPDATED ADDED***
Thanks Raven, You got the point I was baiting your mind to go further with ;). NAACP, Colleges, etc. I knew mentioning it would cause minds to take it much further then what I put.

A few days ago I talked to a co-worker who is a black woman. She actually said somethings that I felt were valid points, that I felt would ONLY be fair in posting on this blog. She actually didn't mention these as reasons to continue being ignorant, she is completely in agreement that we need to be united.

Apparently there have been a number of times she has crossed paths with white people who have displayed racism, and has told me a few stories about friends and what they deal with.

Now, because I'm white I am oblivious to the fact that when it comes to our children's dolls we don't always have a selection of black baby dolls as there are white ones. Thinking about it, she is right. She brought it up saying she knows people who refuse to allow their child to play with a white baby doll, and how she thinks that's awful and itself is a form of teaching your child racism... if THAT doll is the one your child wants, and wants to play with LET THEM... I can see what she's saying, but we should have a variety of baby dolls in both colors. If Jayden had been a girl and said he REALLY wanted a black baby doll I would have gotten it for him, because his happiness is what matters (or hers?? LOL)... BUT would I have picked it over a white one if not knowing that's what he/her's preference was? Of course not... So for a black mother not wanting a white baby doll for their child, I can understand... you want your child to grow up feeling healthy about who they are and not wanting to make believe their life is something different... especially when it comes to the color of their skin. I see what my co-worker means by teaching racism... but I would make sure that the reason my daughter would want a baby doll of different color were for healthy reasons and not for a self haterid by any means.

She was saying especially for cake toppers, black figures are usually very dark skinned and/or not very attractive. Just different things like that... I realised while she was talking (and made this point to her) that if you look at our marketing in america as a whole it is still a "white" world when it comes to merchandise for the "normal" things... now let me explain before you take that wrong... We have many hip hop type stores that cater to the younger black person in baggy clothes, shoes and what not... But for things outside of clothing and for every day life of decoration, knick knacks... etc, it's not as easy.

She has said she sees racism on both sides, with her own friends and with white people she comes into contact with every now and then. She agreed it's crazy, and I knew she would... that's why I was comfortable asking her. But these were points I felt were only fair to share after our conversation.

I woke up this morning to the sound of my sister dropping off my nephew. Which I'm pretty excited about since I'm off today and can spend some time with him. Well he found a can of pringles. Before I can go any further I have to tell you a little about him, he's a little over a year old and VERY short... he is just a LITTLE taller then the pringles tube. I'd say it comes up to a little above his tummy. As it turns out my nephew LOVES pringles... and it is a common practice for him to DANCE infront of a tube when he finds one! How freakin cute and addorible is that??? I love it!! I can't get over how cute it is and just have to share this addorible news with others :)!
